Strategic Aims

NUC agreed six strategic aims to guide all its work over the next four years:

1. To provide the opportunity for un-churched young people of the community to develop spiritually, emotionally and socially.

2. To engage directly with the youth and community through schools and local businesses.

3. To provide leadership training in community youth work.

4. To develop stronger relationships with other stakeholders, in order to generate and maximise support (including finance and personnel).

5. To Provide (locate and manage) multi-functional, centrally located premises which is youth-friendly, and is staffed by well trained professionals and volunteers.

6.  To establish and promote NUC as a brand within (and beyond) the Churches’ youth and community.
